I totally agree Simandou will be top priority now. The fall out from this week's war madness will be as certain as night follows day.
Tunnelling and rail construction began 6 months ago and there are no signs of slowing even after the coup. The coup leaders already made a commitment to honour all signed mining agreements with all countries and entities.
Came across an article yesterday that China may even benefit by renegotiating the terms with the new regime to allow the ore to be shipped much quicker and cheaply from the Liberian coast.
Guinea will be the new "lucky country".
