I agree with you but no politician wants it to fall on their watch no matter what they say, "we want to avoid this becoming a habit etc etc." having said that, I don't think evergrande is the black swan or Lehman moment. why? because we all are acutely aware of it. this is perhaps the entree or distraction of something else that we have no idea about. I do see a market blow off top into dec and then with inflation running rampant in USA into next yr, that to me will spell trouble for equities and commodities as interest rates will need to rise to fight inflation. otherwise the US will be not only facing inflation but a possible death of king dollar. I think this is the last leg up before the meltdown next yr. watch the 10 yr yield for clues
