lol yes its funny. How many of us obsess about the price of what we paid for last weeks groceries and constantly analyse what we could have gotten cheaper if we had only waited until this week? None of us do yet we don't see how silly it is to obsess over the day to day fluctuations in price of good quality investments.

Buy good quality companies with money you have (ie not with debt) at what you think is a reasonable price. Accept short term price fluctuations as part of the market and an opportunity to buy more shares cheaply (again using money you have not margin debt). Then trust the company and trust the management and sit tight for a very long time.

That strategy will make you a lot of money. Hotcopper is an excellent forum to share analysis but it is important not to get caught in this constant flood of emotion during share price fluctuations through these types of posts. Use hotcopper for what it is useful for which is to share research, information and analysis.
