Well we will have to disagree there. I think his encouragement for the Australian government to commit to a 2050 zero emissions target is not helpful as while we care about our hydrogen future (FMG)it is far bigger than that to be signing up in Glasgow.

I personally prefer green tech prove itself that it can be profitable without pushing the government to favour it. I am sure you might not be too pleased when you start experiencing more black outs if Australia signs up.

I am all for hydrogen production if it is profitable by itself without help.
Hydrogen will be abe to do well if it can cut coking coal out of the steel making process.

I am personally however not sold on solar or wind as a solution to Australia long term needs. Nuclear yes is an option.

Just look at how successful France is with its power grid.
