shipping rates are not $42 per tonne, and for FMG’s 8 ships that they own, the shipping cost don’t fluctuate with the ship market so they have an edge over BHP there because regardless of the market price for shipping, on the owned fleet the shipping costs are just fuel, maintenance and wages.
