Lithium mining is a complete furphy, I spoke to somebody in the business and he said there are humungous deposits in brine form in the lakes in Chile and Argentina. He also said that the mining economics have not a hope in the world in competing with the economics of brine extraction in Chile and Argentina. His view was all the mining starts will go to the wall and only Obacore ( I haven't spelt it right) is a viable Australian option. Maybe thats why FMG gave it away.
