- Trading View is showing you the front-month SGX October contract which is at $121.6.
- Your SGX mobile app is showing you the second-month SGX contract which is at $109.20
The "correct" price is $109.2.
SGX futures contracts differ in that their settlement price is based on the average price of iron ore for the month. As there is only 1 trading day to go in October, the SGX October contract is redundant as it is almost impossible to change the average price for October seeing most of October has already happened. As such the average iron ore price for October was about $121.6 and won't change much from there.
But the average price for November remains unknown.
The real market price moving forward is now the November contract.
