You are wrong sorry. There is no project in the world ever like IBO.
Vale produces 67% concentrate but it's direct ship. They just dig it up out of the ground. Champion Iron produces 66% but it's Labrador trough hematite/magnetite ore using gravity separation. IOCC and various Brazilian operations produce pellets but that's really old technology.
IBO is the first large scale high grade magnetite project of its type ever. Proof of this is the huge amount of money that FMG had to spend on technology development for the project.
This is why IBO is yet more proof of the excellent quality of the FMG leadership. They saw the trend to high grade ore early. They recognised the technical development needed to economically beneficiate hard magnetite ore. They spent the necessary money to develop the technology and they are now constructing the plant.
FMG has previously developed surface mining which at the time everybody else said would not work but now is considered industry leading technology.
This is exactly the steps needed to develop hydrogen reduced steel and exactly the reason that FMG are the right people to do it.
