Analysts have told you FMG has paid of debt/net debt, analysts do provide free cash flow data to show the impact of lower debt repayments and analysts do tell you the historical pay out ratios and in fact they provide (at times) graphs similar to what you have provided. Analysts are not misleading on any of these points.

Separately, directors are getting sued all the time for providing misleading information to the market and analyst. That's the basis of class actions - directors been sued. In fact directors have become such a risk to shareholders that directors indemnity insurance has skyrocketed at the expense of shareholders. Good luck thinking directors are always on your side.
