Agreed jb206 COGS are costs directly attributable to the production of producing, including direct labour, fuel costs etc of the Goods for Sale in this case Iron Ore, whereas the NPAT will include and account for overhead costs such as Wages, Rent, Interest and so forth not directly linked to the production of Ore.
