Let's just say someone bought $100K at approx $17.00 (6000 shares approx) only 7 weeks ago, they are currently sat at a tidy $30K clear profit.
By your analogy, if the SP fell back to $10, their investment would be worth $60K, therefore losing not only $40K of original investment but the $30K profit as it stands today, a total of $70K!!!
Just to make $16K in a divi but not until March?!
Simples!!
