Well, any recent sector analysis will show that energy and materials are rising whilst all other sectors appear to be either stagnant or in decline...
The old stockbroker adage says that "as goes January, so goes the year"... January isn't over yet but so far it appears good for material stocks that actually make money, FMG is firmly in that category, and bad for the 'pre-revenue' stocks and all those counters which suffer in an inflationary and/or a rising real interest rate environment. IMO we are set for an excellent year and, if one takes a longer view, an outstanding decade or so of growth in this sector.
