An interesting claim, based on ongoing operations, aside from Iron ore and Copper, everything else is a rounding error on BHP's income statement. Not diversified at all.
BHP shareholders are just lucky that they will have exposure to oil as that asset hasn't been spun out yet. That's where BHP's gains have come from.
