I always love this sentiment....I fear most Aussie investors have had that sentiment (where else do I put my money?) and have little more imagination than fleeing the banks with an impending housing crash and buying into already bouyant commodity companies, whilst the global economy is about to go into recession and China has about 52 million spare investment apartments for sale!

There are ample promising companies out there worthy of investment, but FMG investors will buy the dip and shout look at my dividend yield as their capital losses exceed it, ergo onto the swathe of 'its only a loss if you sell it' comments.
