Houses were cheap with big backyards. All children could read and spell well even though there were 30 kids in a class. Most people were healthy. Not many overweight people. Kids walked to school by themselves. Cars were amazing and unique unlike cookie cutter cars today. Hard to tell some brands apart and they are made cheaply. Kids left school and found work easily and were motivated to do well. Pubs shut early but neighbours had BBQs and get togethers and adults had more house parties and dinner parties. Families were mostly two parents and kids were well behaved. Families sat down to eat together at night.

Today huge overweight/health problems. Many kids can't read well or spell well when they leave school. Kids leave school unmotivated. Too many University courses with questionable areas of study that have little prospects for a job at the end.
