Photo number 2 is a perfect example of dumb, wasted Chinese investment. A typical 'ghost city'. All those rows and rows of apartments, with nobody in them (I can see one single car driving on the roads around them).
Centrally planned economics always fails, and China's politically driven dream of African iron ore will fail too.
