This is an enormous positive for the future of IO, imo, as it highlights the fact that the Chinese anticipate heightened ongoing demand for the product we produce. They fear the fact that they are unable to control the price of so vital an input and, being a centrally controlled communist one-party set up, reach for the obvious marxist solution... central planning.
This silly idea has about as much chance of success against free market forces as the chinese have of getting simandou up and running by the end of the century... another of the tasks given to this new entity and also doomed to failure..
