If you are able to point to a time when a broker or analyst has ever been right on this or any other stock, please do so.....
At a time of general market uncertainty and instability there is always a good chance of a stock falling in the short term and one does not need broker/analyst advice to understand that. However, this is the time of year generally when brokers and analysts take advantage of a usually weaker market to rubbish stocks, in the free press, that they are busily accumulating for their large, paying, institutional and wealthy clientele.
The hope is that the retail herd will panic and sell whilst the institutional and high net worth crowd load up and benefit from the inevitable market upswing into the New Year. It happens over and over and over again, year after year - the gullible and the foolish take the bad free advice and wealth transfers from weak hands to strong...
There's not a thing wrong with this business, imo, and the brokers will alter their free advice when their valuable, paying, clients have bought their fill.
