The futures market is the collective wisdom of hundreds of analysts. Futures says the price will be USD89. Nobody credible thinks prices will be significantly higher.
America is that part of the consumption end of the end product ....
US steel imports are insignificant (17.7MT). Imports of manufactured goods are also a minor source of steel.
