This tiresome nonsense comes up time and time and time again.... only a few months back these same types were advising people to sell and putting price targets of $12 to $15 on FMG and look what happened.. a higher low than last year and a meteoric rise of 50% or so.
Last year a similar scenario played out and so many other times as well.
This is all just the greed and fear games played by these financial institutions and brokers who desperately need to show portfolio gains in a market which doesn't do very much overall. Consider the fact that the ASX200 is not too far above where it was 15 years ago (6851 Nov 2007) and the only way for these types to profit is by pushing individual stocks up and down. The way to do it is to release FREE nonsense reports so as to panic the patsies into selling and to then profit on the subsequent, very rapid, rally selling the cheaply bought stock to the same patsies who - gripped by fear and greed, alternately - always seem to sell low and buy high.
If one is silly enough to take free advice one is probably not suited to making money on the market and would probably be better off taking up knitting or gardening....
