"November global steel output numbers were released overnight and they paint a positive picture for demand for iron ore overall. World output in the 66 countries which report to the World Steel Association rose 3.7 per cent to 136.3 million tonnes from the year-ago month.
As for China, crude steel production for November was 66.2 million tonnes, an increase of 2.2 per cent compared to November 2016, the data showed. The increase came despite Chinese authorities shuttering inefficient - high polluting - mills starting mid month."
