i agree, total money grab. My understanding is Fortescue signed a royalty agreement before mining, but then two aboriginal groups went to court to determine who was the rightful native title owner of the land we mine. The new group won, then saw how much money was being made so they're demanding 100x more!!!!
we had a signed agreement with the owner at the time of signing, so new group should be party to that contract.
