It's really not to great a leap to work out the current price....
Last close was $22.44, cum div.
Dividend with franking credit is roughly $1.07.
$22.44 minus $1.07 = $21.37...
Given that IO was down a few dollars over the weekend and the miners dipped around 3.5% in Europe and US, the market should see FMG at around $20.60 this morning... which is what happened.
A little short covering and institutional buying has seen a minor rally, almost to the ex-div price and now a drop in line with current falling ASX. All very logical and ordered and not very surprising.... also bear in mind that only 4m shares or so have changed hands - around 0.12% of the total shares outstanding..
