A wild night as OPEC's decision filtered through markets:
- For resource stocks, the big overnight development was the surge in the AUD which is primarily responsible for the lower expected open this morning.
- Dow Jones surged because of its 30 components are couple are oil stocks, whereas the S&P crept higher and the Nasduck lost ground as the latter contained less oil stocks and are more impacted by the inflationary consequences of a higher oil price.
