As soon as someone mentions "blue pill" you know they are part of a conspiracy-promoting cult, although I suppose it's possible a shorter would pretend to be in the cult in order to affect the price.

It's interesting you mention a science teacher. Climate-denying conspiracy theorists often refuse to listen to the mainstream media or anything else that proves them wrong because, they're all in on it dontcha know. In those cases I suggest that a good person to speak to would be a local high school science teacher, because that's a normal person in the community who is trained to explain these concepts, and also it's hard to believe that Mr Howes who taught me in Year 9 is part of the Illuminati or whatever it supposedly behind this.

I hope it gets to the point where climate deniers will be treated like flat earthers. You'll never convince them, you just have to let them prattle on in their own little clubs and forums and shake your head in wonder at their strange beliefs.
