Everyone's a genius in hindsight, I was poised to top up under $19, I read comments from people topping up under $20 and I thought... nah. Then I missed out! I think I'll get another chance, but I'd be surprised if it happened before the next divi, that's only a couple of months away. SOMETIME in 2024, I now think I should be able to buy again.
I would have viewed $23 as a good selling price at the time, but like others here, my strategy is to hold long-term, which means I won't sell, only buy on dips until there's some major change in my circumstances or in FMG and the market. FMG is by far the most successful stock currently in my humble little portfolio.
I have a couple of real failures in there too, there's nothing like "-86%" to keep you humble. They are the exception, fortunately, and were smaller investments. FMG and others helped keep me well in the green since 2018.
