Not sure where you are getting that from.

Nuclear is very expensive and would put your power bills up.
We will need one though for the nuclear subs and by the time they come on line it will all be drones anyway.

Some countries are looking at nuclear fusion is what is going on but no one so far has got it to work.
Get fusion going and everything changes and not to be confused with dirty current fission reactors
which have a bad by product which is nuclear waste and very hard to store.

They saying they are hoping to get fusion going in the next 30 to 50 years.

Biggest problem with nuclear power stations is it becomes a target in any war just as we are seeing in Ukraine.

The world is more going solar power than any other renewable source and then going battery backup which is cheap and fast to install.
Nuclear power stations take 15 years to build. Some saying mini nuclear no such thing though. Its put out by fossil fuel companies
as they know it will take 20 years to build. 5 years for approval site and another 15 years so fossil fuel companies can still make more money.

Fossil fuel industry very scared about renewable power which is why you see so many ads against it.

I have solar myself on my roof as do most people these days with virtually no power bills at all and no battery needed.
