Hundreds of traders shouting instructions to the chalkies
A 65 Billion dollar market cap company trading pretty quitely and orderly for months
The narrative over the previous months as well has been the Chinese economy (ie FMG's major customer) has stalled - so everyone thought that was already priced in by the market to the future earnings of the company
Then some dude in a bright yellow jacket wanders in and says "sell 1.1 Billion" and then has a wisper to the others as he was walking out the door? "it was me all along selling the last few weeks"...?
