China doesn’t need to invade TW to create a distraction. All they have to do is improve their infrastructures in the 2nd and 3rd cities by announcing a big stimulus.
When times are bad you built better roads and rails.
In 10 years their 3rd and 4th tier cities is going to be like New York or Sydney with much better logistics. All that required IO
