Upon reflection I should not have brought this subject up on the FMG thread. However, just because I am in the process of trying to finalise this issue, I think this article from a totally authoritative source, "international energy agency", should put the matter to rest if one is indeed casting the sales of EVs net widely. Global figures are unequivocally rising dramatically, mostly driven by China. Please see this link for the detail.

And just in case you think the numbers are not continuing to go up in 2024, please do some googling of global sales.
