I am surprised by the lack of reaction to what was a very significant development today. The projected expenditure on FFI moving forward was projected to be about $1.7b a year for as far out as Goldman gives projection ... so even a 50% reduction in cash outflow there is a big deal.
However, when I read the actual announcement, there is no detail whatsoever as to the reasons for the job cuts which is bizarre.
You'd hope the media is right and the job cuts aren't due to other problems.
