Yea but the problem is, if you disperse so much stock into weak hands at a discount, those same investors are incentivised to take profit on their holdings at the first chance... like who wouldn't sell at $19 when you just purchased at $18.55?
So sure a the seller was matched with a buyer, but that does not mean the stock isn't going to be released onto the market.
