    BHP had to drop nickle due to the falling prices as they would lose money.
    That is why they stopped mining it and sacking workers so there profits won't be as high.

    China is subsidizing Indonesia nickle mine to lower world prices so they can corner the EV market.
    They doing it with lithium/spod as well as solar panels. US now woken up and subsidizing their solar panels.

    The Europeans are more worried about China and subsidizing EV's to under cut their own car companies which will put
    many workers out of employment.

    This was all on the ABC 4 Corners program this week. Suggest you go watch it on iview.

    You sound like a BHP holder. Glad I dropped them a while back. Their dividends no where near as
    good as FMG are.

    Fact currently yields with BHP is 5.73% and FMG yield is 11-3% which proves my point FMG
    has the better dividend yields.
