I understand that you have a substantial shareholding in FMG and your posts reflect this.
Holding on to get an 80 cent dividend while the SP price drops $5 doesn't make sense to me unless sale of the shares will trigger a huge tax liability.
Shares halving in value will also solve any tax problem.
Fund managers spruik the matra "Time in the Market" better than "Timing the market".
As a trader I disagree with this and prefer to make money both on the way up and way down in any market volatility.
We all have different investment styles and risk tolerance.
