As a chinese resident living in Shenzhen. No these is not data flr cities, they are mostly data for provinces. As for example Shenzhen is in Guangdong province. So there is no direct data for Guangzhou here.
Yes Chongqing, Beijing and Shanghai. Because they are city provinces.
I know for a fact that Shenzhen and to a less extent Guangzhou has done far better than the rest of Guangdong. But when there are 120 million or so reidents in Guangdong the 20 million and 15 million residents in both cities are in the minority by far for prpvincial data. The countryside has done far worse than the big cities.
One might think that you are trying to push a false picture?
Sure the economy has issues but at least state what is really displayed in the table.
