But I'll tell ya this much for nuthin mate, predicting the future is a fool's game! The best definition of intelligence I've ever seen is adaptability. Maximising whatever circumstances eventuate.

I guess somethings are predictable, like the middle east turning to s@#t.....yet again.

There is such a multitude of unknown contingencies, a cast of thousands of possibilities on offer to bugger up the most brilliant of forcasts and plans......geopolitical challenges, pandemics et al.

I've always tried to steer my investing towards businesses which have potential to benefit to the max first and foremost precious, unique Planet Earth and humanity, businesses which excite me and businesses which are able to sustain a roof over my head etc......hence I landed on the good ship Fortescue!
