Just, Mr borano, in order to address the concerns you raised that I was not a fair dinkum buyer, I bit the bullet, squeezed the trigger and added to my burgeoning Fortescue portfolio.
The other reason was as TonyIndo highlighted Alta Copper, which Fortescue has a significant holding and even might acquire in a friendly takeover, was granted permission to proceed with its Peruvian copper mining. Plus a host of other reasons.
Do you, borano see this as buying time. China is obviously the elephant in the room.....trying to pick IO price movements is a mug's game. So much hand-wringing goes on in these conversations!
