I always thought that was the problem with the ban. I thought a lot of sintering plants had to close too hence why lump premiums went up. I’m not too sure on specifics with fmg ore and sintering and if anyone had information on this it would be greatly appreciated
Will be interesting to see how things change next month. As for the extending Tangshan ban that city is 12% of national production so they want to reduce production capacity to what was it 85% or thereabouts? that’s like 1-2 % at a national level. Seeing China traditionally had overcapacity doesn’t seem to be a problem compared to bans in place now?
