GS snapshot of expected capex over the next five years for replenishing iron ore capacity, FMG being at the upper end for capital intensity attached.
The estimate for FMG (to simply stand still production wise) is US$2.75B circa 2020, or around A$1.20 per share (which of course is large measured to FMG's market cap)
Which is why spot multiple valuations, or complaining about perceived discounts to Rio really miss the mark. Not to mention missing what the market is telling you.
