Looks to me like maybe a bit of short-covering (although we have to wait a week for the report to come out). circa 1.5m shares sold to get the price down to $4.07, and 6m bought since. Possibly even sold it down to trigger some stops and panic selling.
Shorts have narrowed slightly from 70m net to 67m net over the past week or so on Shortman (noting that the data is a week old), I think some will be looking to cover over the next few weeks.
I might be wrong, but once a stock is so depressed on price the upside for shorts is decreased...
