In the same interview on Sky where she briefly spoke about AGO on Monday she was questioned quite closely about the discount. My take on what she said was that the reasons for the discount were twofold. China wanting to improve their environment. Higher grade IO more productive and less polluting. A structural matter and likely to persist. And secondly that the high margins being received for steel facilitate paying higher prices for IO. H ere she indicated that should those high prices come off the Chinese would reassess their input costs and the discounts would likely narrow. For what it's worth.
