Buy backs are good tighten the registry up...... and probably that’s the only thing that’s is going too happen as far as I can see.
BD may have to use borrowed money, to pay the expectation of an increase in dividends to save face.
Otherwise, they weren’t doing their job of taking into account the interest of ALL shareholders.
Surprisingly BHP did, with a choice of BB or special dividends.
