hahahahaha ASIC and their USA regulating brothers, the ones that ignore the 4-5 hedge funds all ringing each other or having closed door meetings and saying hey guys its time to collectively short fmg, its time to spread some BS stories to the media that fmg is going to go broke because of an iron ore discount, tell the media that the discount is here to stay.
Make sheet loads of money, then all ring each other again, hey guys its time that we all get out in an orderly fashion and then go long for a while.
unless your bugging all their phone lines and planting undercover staff into the mix to sit in on meetings good luck catching them.
so what solutions do companies have to try and support their shareholders investment, well the strategic but not illegal use of buy backs is certainly one that comes to mind.
