Iron ore market continues to weaken with no positive signs
Physical iron ore remained thinly traded on Monday April 10 and prices fell as the general gloom persisted in the market.
Key drivers China’s benchmark ferrous futures contracts all continued to retreat during the day, losing 0.50-2.70% of their value. The guideline Tangshan steel billet price also slid 40 yuan ($6) per tonne late in the afternoon. Miners were inactive in offering cargoes during the day, while the offers seen on trading platforms attracted no bids at all.
