Whilst IO prices are trending lower:
- Prices are still well above some analyst expectations this year, so earnings upgrades are likely;
- The IO price is doing far better in AUD terms, so that further supports earnings; and
- FMG was always valued on longer term IO price of around $80 and we have been lucky IO prices have remained above that for so long (and still are above that). Whilst some on here will need to adjust to reality that 10% dividends are a thing of the past, lower IO prices do not change FMG's valuation as FMG's valuation was already based on lower prices.
