So i am feeling happy today. My stocks in FMG go up and I can start to look forward to a time when i do not need to do daily testing for work.

The message has been filtering down to lower government levels that they wont be pushing dynamic zero. Amazing turn around to be honest.

Still quarantine is required to enter China so we need to look for when that gets pulled down.

While in the short term i think we can see strong tailwinds and a positive sentiment to prevail once past that initially there may be a drift back down in the medium term as the economy here is fundamentally not strong but i suppose the government could pump it along a bit.

Just looking at my local area there were many businesses that did not survive the continous restrictions and sometimes having lockdowns. Unlike in Australia the government here did not give financial assistance.

Will be glad to be back in Oz next month for the first time in over 3 years (almost exactly 3 years since the last time I was outside China).
