IMHO this is an excellent starting point.
Then the next step is to make sure you have good reasons for what you do believe. Evidence... I know its exhausting to not just absorb and accept everything, but a life without internal and external reflection is a life barely lived. In this modern age I'd suggest its subjecting yourself to a modern form of slavery.
