I support the McGowan lockdown extension. I know FMG management have come out voicing its concern about how it will impact labour costs - but I live in Melb and I have done may 9 or 10 lockdowns over the last two years. It has been eff hell. CV has smashed the labour force. Sure unemployment is down according to ABS, but participation rates have been smashed. The whole workforce has actually shrunk, the truth is that Covid decimates work forces. Unfetted, Covid can absolutely root a company. Lost productivity would be massive across WA if McGowan didn't extend the lock down.
Anyway, what does this have to do with travel? Simple, I can't get to WA because of the border lock.
