really strange activity today with the futures. The May contract was marginally down but the Feb 2025 contract significantly up; same with the contracts maturing later this year.
I interpret the differential closing in recent days as the mkt thinking stimulus ie both fiscal and monetary needed later this year to hit the gdp target which will carry thru till next year. Military spending will be up as well which will likely push demand for IO up.
