Pleased to see that someone has done their homework. Well done. Did you also know that Noble Group purchased the marketing rights from OM Holdings. The original marketing agreement was with OMH. The commission of 3.5% that is paid is little, when you realise that TTY is paid 95% of the shipment once it hits the ships deck. The responsiblity of collecting the money from the Chinese is up to Noble Group.
Whether the Noble Group is getting the best spot price is another thing, from my research, they are always well under what the Indians get. But at least it's always fully sold.
If TTY was getting even close to the current spot price, we could see the entire debt repaid by the end of next quarter. AND that would be good news. Once the debt has been repaid the Noble Group might just be a little more pushy towards getting another project in the pipeline. BUT, unfortunately with the price of iron ore contracts set to increase by 70%, nobody will be selling projects cheap. Which means paying top dollar.
